meet bill ward: An Advocate for Recovery, Healing, Connection, and Transformation
With over 20,000 hours dedicated to guiding individuals and communities through the process of recovery, Bill Ward is a passionate First Nations recovery advocate, speaker, and mentor. His work integrates traditional Indigenous practices, modern addiction recovery techniques, and a deep spiritual connection to help others reclaim their lives from addiction and self-destructive behaviors."
At the core of Bill’s work is the belief that addiction is more than just a physical struggle—it’s a disease rooted in emotional, mental, and spiritual pain. His recovery programs focus on addressing the underlying ‘Spiritual Malady’- the dis-ease- driving addiction and other self-destructive behaviors.
"Recovery is not just about quitting substances; it’s about transforming your entire life, reconnecting with your true self, and finding purpose in what you’re doing and truly showing up in your relationships."
— Bill Ward

BILL's recovery story
From Addiction to Sobriety, then Sobriety to Recovery.
Bill’s path to recovery began from a place of darkness and despair. Battling addiction for most of his life, Bill was lost in a cycle of self-destruction fueled by alcohol, drugs, and materialism. Despite his professional success as a business owner, he struggled to find meaning and fulfillment.
March 22, 2015 would be the beginning of Bill’s journey of transformation. He embraced sobriety and from there, embarked on a path of self-discovery, spiritual healing, and reconnection with his Indigenous heritage. This journey not only helped Bill overcome his addiction but also fueled his passion to help others do the same, passionate about teaching the fundamental differences between sober living and full recovery.
