FOLLOW MY LEAD AND EMBRACE THE CHANGE!

Recovery is a journey. It doesn’t happen overnight. It doesn’t happen just because you finished your treatment center stay. There’s no graduation. There are no accolades. There is no end goal. But there is a great life. A life you cant comprehend. EMOTIONAL SOBRIETY, WAKING UP IN YOUR OWN LIFE!

Recovery for the real deal Alcoholic/Addict is a way of life. You will get out of life what you put into your recovery. The alcohol and drugs are really just  symptoms of a Spiritual Malady.  We need a revolutionary change in the way of living and thinking. Ive had the change and now I want others to experience these gifts. If I was to settle for just not drinking or using drugs I would have been settling for crumbs and the chances are I would drink and use again anyway. There is so much more to recovery than removal of the substance. I'm a very grateful alcoholic addict today because I've found a solution to all my problems. I mean ALL. Don't believe me? come meet me. Ill show you what I've learnt. Or more like unlearned.

At first, recovery seemed like a life sentence. Something that was in a sense forced upon me. I didn’t know what to think about recovery at first. Then I started the process… After all, I was in a desperate condition and I didn’t want to die like so many others. I realized this was the 'last house on the block' before death.  I accepted I was an alcoholic and drug addict. I learned that it was a disease. Once I understood the disease concept many more things made sense. I also learned that drugs and alcohol was only a symptom of something deeper.  So, I dug into that deeper part. It all started making way more sense the more I learnt and the deeper I got. The work and willingness to change was hard but, so worth it.

DO WHATS HARD AND MAKE YOUR LIFE EASY... Live with the priceless gift of peace of mind, true freedom of your human spirit, comprehend the word serenity, have a faith that can meet any emergency, live life with a truth and walk authentic. There will be no need for the masks anymore.

I no longer need or want drugs or alcohol in my life. I have found a life through the recovery process that I wouldn’t trade for anyone’s life. I didn’t get my old life back. I was gifted a brand-new life. I wish I could give this gift of how I feel and see life now to everyone.

The gratitude I have in my life today I cannot put into words. The sheer appreciation for the things I once took for granted. I am in amazement of what this journey of recovery is and what is has revealed to me. It has gifted me many blessings. it has rippled like a stone dropped into water to those who love me and many who don’t even know me.

Recovery is a gift. Recovery is waking up to life. Recovery is a chance to get to know myself. Recovery is an opportunity to become the best me I can. Recovery is a lifelong journey. Recovery saved my life, gave me a life and gives me great purpose in my life!

I will show my gratitude with my sincere devotion to pass it on to others if they want it. Its not for people that want it or need it its for people that REALLY WANT IT! and DO IT!
